Concrete & Paver Installation in Marin, Sonoma & Napa Counties

Custom driveways, patios, walkways and pool decks built to last. Serving residential and commercial properties across the North Bay since 1999.

When it comes to hardscape, the difference between a good job and a great one comes down to preparation, materials and craftsmanship. At Builtwell Landscape Construction, we bring all three to every concrete and paver project we take on, whether it is a private residence in Mill Valley or a commercial property in Santa Rosa.

We work with a wide range of materials including natural stone, porcelain, travertine, brick and concrete pavers, as well as poured and stamped concrete finishes. Every surface we install is properly graded and prepped before a single paver is set, because a beautiful installation that shifts, cracks or floods is not an installation worth paying for.

Our concrete and paver services cover driveways, front walkways, backyard patios, outdoor entertaining areas, pool surrounds, retaining borders and commercial hardscape. If you can walk on it, park on it or gather around it, we build it right.

Builtwell serves homeowners and businesses throughout Marin County including Sausalito, Mill Valley, Tiburon, San Rafael and Corte Madera, as well as clients across Sonoma County in Santa Rosa, Petaluma and Rohnert Park, and Napa County including Napa and St. Helena.

FAQs

What is the difference between concrete and pavers?

1

Poured concrete is a single continuous surface, while pavers are individual units set in a pattern over a prepared base. Pavers tend to be easier to repair if one section shifts or cracks, and they offer more design flexibility. Poured and stamped concrete can achieve a similar look at a lower upfront cost. We help every client weigh the options based on their budget, use case and aesthetic goals.

How long does a concrete or paver installation take?

2

Most residential projects are completed within two to five days depending on the size and scope of the job. Larger commercial installs or projects with significant grading work may take longer. We give every client a clear timeline before work begins.

Do you handle the permits?

3

Permit requirements vary by city and county across Marin, Sonoma and Napa. We are familiar with local requirements throughout the North Bay and will walk you through what is needed for your specific project before we get started.

How do I maintain my pavers or concrete after installation?

4

Pavers benefit from occasional re-sanding of joints and sealing every few years to protect color and prevent weed growth. Concrete surfaces should be sealed after installation and inspected periodically for cracks. We are happy to walk you through a maintenance routine at the end of every project.

Do you offer free estimates?
